Intercultural Classrooms: Perspective of the education of Mayangnas students

Abstract

The research was carried out from the qualitative approach, the ethnographic method represented the main research strategy for approaching the phenomenon, through the application of observation, the interview, as well as the transfer and countertransference techniques of information. The article focuses on the perspective of Mayangnas students in relation to the challenges of higher education, both academic and cultural, and the need to resize the educational practice of teaching - learning in favor of the socio-historical and cultural recognition of the classroom as a space. intercultural. The text represents an approach to the production of intercultural spaces from the perspective of the research subjects, which could shed light on the processes of academic transformation, but, above all, on the pertinent treatment of students of ethnic origins.
