Abstract

In this work, the teaching of the combinatorial theory was addressed with two types of problems, those whose results can be checked by direct counting and those that can not be verified, because the number of events obtained does not allow, for reasons of time, to verify one by one , all the arrangements obtained. In addition, the didactic and academic usefulness of both types of problems was determined. Another aspect that was included is the attention to the singularities, as part of the attention to diversity: The particularized attention that has to be given to advanced students. A series of examples of commensurable problems and their didactic use were incorporated into this work, which do not intend, for the brevity of the document, to give a definitive answer about the teaching of counting techniques, if not show lightly, the possible courses for didactically approach this exciting subject. There were also examples of immeasurable problems and their academic usefulness, to address the singularities of students who love mathematics.
