Applications of Language of Categories in different scientific and technological activities

Abstract

The purpose of this scientific essay is to show the importance of categorical or category language in various scientific and technological activities, from a theoretical point of view. The use of ring groups as tools for the development of digital communication systems, image enhancement, information transmission and cyclic codes is addressed. Aspects in topology, mathematical reasoning, functional analysis and computer science are also explored, all of them fundamental and inseparable from mathematics. The crucial role of algebraic topology in this context is highlighted. It is worth mentioning that this essay constitutes a theoretical contribution on the language of categories, a scientific topic rarely addressed in national and international literature. Throughout the reading, different categories and their applications are mentioned.
