Reflections on the importance of educating and training in Open Governance
Abstract
The main purpose of this article is to describe the importance of educating and training in Open Governance, that is, to evaluate the need and possibility of introducing changes in education to respond to political and pedagogical discourses and introduce concepts such as open governance, transparency, participation and democracy in educational centers. The methodology is hermeneutic and qualitative at a descriptive level; therefore, its basis is documentary, supported by scientific articles in a systematic review of the literature on the subject. Educating in Open Governance is one more way of bringing administrations closer to citizens; training them in open governance education should result in turning students into responsible, committed, participative citizens, close to the democratic life of the institutions.
